To be honest, I'm not one to go with the flow, instead I chose to go with my flow. they tell me to slow down, that's what would be best right? Too bad I'm focused on the next life, I'm on that eagle plotting to leave the next life, and imma soar over people so they see all the work I've done and say "You really did it" yes I grew wings, and it's also equipped with other things, the fake friends whod only want me because the money that they know imma get, and the girls claiming I got them pregnant and I know I didn't hit, I'm not usually one for sexual themes but I just had to be real, I'm 17 livin in a cold world so I have time to kill, but I won't kill it imma embrace it, to everyone throwing shade imma do the matrix, and just dodge it, right now it feels like the best of times and worst of times, it's the best of times because I know that I have the ambition to succeed, do anything I need to become part of that rare breed, like teenage "Fugees", that's why I started Rebel Camp, it is also the worst of times because it all relies on timing, will I meet that person to introduce me to that silver lining, that lime lighting, I truthfully don't know, I wanna be known for coming in the game fighting! |

To My Role Model You are the cause of my unanswered questions, my homely blessins, and lonely depressions. You weren't present in my adolescence, but it’s always been a part of you in my essence. That piece will be but a chip on my shoulder, yet I could never brush it off. It's a memorial of the struggle, and the reason I'm so determined. I couldn't call you my father figure but you are my role model. You've revealed to me the man that I don't want to become. Its 'cause you've shown me effects of going down the wrong path. You taught me how destroy lives, break vows and manipulate minds. You're who I credit all my success to, but don’t ask me for any royalties. Ill give you this moment of my time, Which is more than you'll ever give. |
I Hate Love Love is my best friend but my worst enemy. She drags me in with her good looks and beautiful song. She kisses me slowly and softly, hypnotizing me with her valiant gaze. She tells me I'm hers and reassures me by leaving her mark on my neck, countless times until she leaves me convinced. She tells me everything I want to hear, it sounds so sincere there's no way it could be false. She even led me to the belief that she is perfection, convincing me to neglect the emotions of my own heart for hers. Then just as my world with Love seemed almost perfect... she shot me down and walked away, leaving herself as memory, happily married in my mind, til death do us part. |
Ars Hiphopica
Hip hop is the poetry of my people, It keeps crowds moving like the Beatles. It's expression spawned from New York's finest, And it isn't always about violence. I hear stories of dreams and struggles, Good times and daily troubles. Our poetry is energy. It explains a way of life not everyone sees. Yet people can relate from America, to places over seas. Hip Hop is has no shade or color, You experience it differently than your brother. Sometimes, its every line you want to quote, But that's what makes it so dope. |
What the Doctor Said
He said it doesn't look good He said it looks bad, in fact real bad. He said it could be life threatening if I didn't get an x-ray and that would be a small fee of $300. He informed me that the pain would last a day, prescribed me with extra strength pain killers and charged me the price of $100. He said that theres gonna be a sitting fee of $50 a waiting fee of $30, and another fee for each doctor form, $10 a page. He said there was an additional charge of $20 because it was a past noon on a monday. I told him that I didn't know a scrape on the knee was this expensive and he said you could've just gotten a bandaid from us for free. |
